spiced Hot Chocolate (Gewürzkakao)
(1 serving)
1 cup Milk
2 whole Cloves
1 Vanilla Bean, opened
Pinch of Cinnamon
Pinch of Cardamom
2 squares of melting Chocolate (milk)
Whipped Cream
Grated Chocolate
method
Combine milk, cloves, and vanilla bean into a sauce pot. Heat to just below the boiling point.
Remove sauce pot from heat.
Remove the cloves and vanilla bean.
Pour the hot milk into a cup and add the chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to melt completely.
Add cinnamon and cardamom and give the beverage a good stir.
Top with some whipped cream and grated chocolate.
